YOU GOT IT. I'm sure the oil pressure went low when the car was on ramps causing a CE light. The louder noise poss wrong belt or exhaust leak!?

If it is an ignition miss, it should turn the check engine light on and give you a code for which cylinder.
A fuel problem or mechanical problem would not always make the warning light come on. Once the engine warms up the O2 sensor gives the computer data to cut back on fuel.
You might want to check the computer for trouble codes to see if anything has been stored.

take it to autozone and have the fault codes read for free
the charcoal cannister that they speak of is the EVAP cannister and if there is a problem with it it will show as a fault code
it has a purge valve and a purge valve solenoid for operation , both of which can be replaced separately
when you hear" I think " , time to find an accredited service center that has experience on your make pf vehicle and get a second opinion
the gas tank neck is a rubber section and comes up in the code as a small leak
a simple loose gas cap will put the light on

The bulb is removed from the rear of the lamp housing. See owners manual

If replacing the oil pressure sensor doesn't fix it, then you need an oil pump.

First thing to do is check the fluid level if that ok you may want to think about having the transmission filter and fluid changed, there are other possibilities but check these first

I have two echo at home a 2001 and a 2004 bought new the two of them. And my sister bought a 2003 new herself. They always function that way. As long as the temperature light dont close (showing the fonction temp is ok)the trans dont go in third in normal use
