Good morning i have my 2008 lancer gt i want to know what is the reason causing the rpm needle to play?

A faulty Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve is what causes the loss of power in a climb of a grade. Replace the EGR valve and you'll be fine.

P2138 is the an issue with the throttle position sensor. Age can cause intermittent failures. Probably the simplest fix is replace the sensor.

take it back to where you got it installed it might be under install warranty if that is the issue

I have a Lancer GT 2008, suddenly the AFS light on the dash board came on and a message "service required" appeared. took it to the to garages to check the problem on their diagnostic equipment and also took it to the dealer. all tried to reset the cars system, but immediately after resetting the system, the AFS light comes on again with the same message. Has anyone encounter a similar problem. Thanks
