Dashboard emission warning has come on but my kia carens is running fine ?

When exactly does it do this? Is it when you've stopped at a red light or a junction? Most modern cars are fitted with a 'Stop-Start' system that shuts the engine off when stopped at idle speed to save fuel and create less pollution.
If your familiar with this system and there are no warning lights on the dashboard take the vehicle back to the dealer and get them to look at it. If this is a 2023 vehicle it should still be covered by some form of warranty, either a dealership based warranty or the manufacturer's warranty.

Replace fuel filter. Diesel motors in cold weather need to run for 10 to 15 minutes before you hit the road. To avoid worming up the engine for that long you need to install the block heater, plug it in every night and you will have no problems any more.

check the engine oil level as these cars will not start if the oil level is low

& diagnose the system with the fault,
& make the required repairs, if necessary

There is very little that gets reset on a vehicle

Hi John, The oil pressure warning light is indicating pressure not level. You say the warning light is on at all times and the engine is losing power? I believe you should have a compression test carried out on the vehicle. It seems highly possible there has been severe damage to the engine. Is the engine emitting any strange sounds? How long has the oil light been on? How often do you service the vehicle by replacing all filters and engine oil? What engine oil do you use? Regards John

It may just be cold weather that's making your O2 sensor toss a code to the computer. If the car starts to chug when you drive it you will probably want to have a shop look at it.
