I'm afraid if you don't have the code, you will have to take it to a local dealer or specialist radio store to have it re-coded.

Fortunately, it's not expensive.

SOURCE: How do you read the oil level correctly on

All dipsticks have an upper and lower mark ..the top mark is the full mark and the lower mark is the add oil mark. Check it with the engine off on level ground.  Also after the motor running at take a few minutes for the oil to return to the oil pan to get an accurate reading.
Do not overfill.

How to read obd code suzuki aerio

There should be two OBD ports on this vehicle, one under the steering wheel the other is located by the computer unit under the hood. Attach an OBD reader or OBD II Reader (available to be borrowed from most car part stores) and read the code.

The check engine light is on my 1995 Saab 900s. I can not find a techician with the correct scanner. How can I turn off the light?

There are three ways to reset a check engine light.

1. Disconnect the battery, wait approximately 30 minutes, reconnect the battery. This resets the cars computer which also reset the check engine light. On newer OBD (on-board diagnostic) compliant vehicles this usually does not work. See step 2.

2. Reset using an OBD II reader. When you hook an OBD II code reader up to your vehicle, you can reset the computer using the code reader.

3. Fixing the problem. Generally the check engine light comes on for a reason. Usually it is emission related (sensors, gas cap) or electrical (faulty wiring). In this case the way to reset the check engine light is to fix the problem

Do i need a scanner to get codes out of 1995 monte carlo or can i do it with a code key or paper clip it has ob 1

1995 was a change over year some of the cars had obd I connectors and some had the obd II as far as i know you will need some type of code reader if you have the new style connector even though the system is still obd I commiucation . If it is the old style connnector you can jump it with a paper clip and read the codes from the flashing engine light , Just so you know you can have your car scaned for codes from most local parts stores for free.. but do not think this is a diagnose of the problem and let them just sell you a part .

What does p0140 code mean n what culd i do about it

O2 sensor. There are troubleshooting procedures here: http://www.obd-codes.com/p0140
Procedures require the use of a good OBD II scanner.
If you have the money, you can try replacing the sensor to see if it clears the code. It's easy to replace.

1999 saab 95 speedometer not working, abs and check engin light comes on

You will need to have your car's ECM (Computer) read by a OBD II scanner to determine what Trouble Code your ECM is giving so a mechanic can properly diagnose the problem. You can go to your local AutoZone store and they can pull the codes out of your ECM for no charge.

What does code 1-p0650 mean?

P0650 Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Control Circuit Malfunction

Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is located on the instrument panel. When the ignition switch is turned ON without engine running, MIL will light up. This is a bulb check. When the engine is started, MIL should go off. If MIL remains on, the on board diagnostic system has detected an engine system malfunction.

Possible Causes:
  • Harness or connectors (MIL circuit is open or shorted.)
  • MIL bulb may be faulty

    1995 900s OBD1 OBD2 ?

1995 is OBD 1. Saab became OBD 2 compliant in 1996. The error message may represent a communication problem between the device and the on board electonics, although this most often is manifested by failure of the reader to provide any message. Check your diagnostic port on the back side where the wires enter it. You will need to remove the two screws that secure it to the underside of the lower dash panel beneath the steering wheel to do this. Make sure that none of the pins have been pushed through the back side or have been loosened within the port. If it looks suspicious, try holding the wires securely into the port when connecting to the scanner. It may help to have an assistant who can experiment with various positions pushing against the backs of the pins while you try to get a secure connection. If this is not the problem, the scanner you purchased my employ the wrong communication standard for Saab cars, which is ISO 9141. There are three others out there in common use.
