Try slightly turning your steering wheel while turning the key. ( Your wheel will be locked but should still be able to move a bit. Don't force the key too much or you could break it, and make things much worse. If that doesn't work your ignition may be defective.

SOURCE: service for 2006 honda accord

Usually Honda Accord needs services in 30, 60, 90K.

Regular Oil change in every 5000 miles.

An easy way to see is sign up for Honda's Ownerlink.
https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/
All you need is your VIN number (usually found on the door jam, outside bottom of the windshield, trunk, etc)

Once you got your car registered, go to the service/maintainece linkand then click "View your factory-recommended Maintenance Schedule."and its all in there
Hope that helps!

My 2007 honda accord has igination key problem,i remove the remote and weld a washer to the key. Now the car could not start, please what may be the problem and how will i fix it

Keys are fitted with transponders that are recognised by the car and allow the engine to start. If you have a key without a recognised transponder then even if the key will turn in the lock, the car will not start. You may have possibly damaged or even destroyed the transponder when you welded the washer to the key.

2003 honda accord/ key wont turn, steering wheel is locked

To fix your problem, you have to turn the steering wheel either to the left or right as much as you can, then try to turn the key in the ignition. When the steering wheel locks, the key won't turn. By manually holding the steering wheel out of the lock position, the key will turn again and you're steering column will be back to normal.
