Last Mich. Winter quit twice while running-in park and driving. Started right back up. This Winter, same in park and running.Wont start back up. No power to windows, ect when quits.

I have a 1991 Buick Lesabre. It starts only about half the time and only stays started for about 1 to 2 minutes at the most. There's a new battery and fresh gas in it.

What does trouble code p0171 on 2000 buick lesabre

The 171 is an oxygen sensor code, you can look up

That alone is not the reason for stalling or idle issues

Voltage regulator

Sounds like a bad connection. The alternator only charges the battery, so if it or the voltage regulator in the alternator fails, the battery would slowly run down, not die all at once.

I have 2000 buick lesabre custom and i was driving it and it ran out of gas so i put $20 in it and i tried to start it and it wont start. What could it be?

wait a few minutes. The gas will have to make it way to the fuel pump again once all the air is out of the line.

After Driving my 92 lasabre for about 5 minutes it stalls out and will not start and run till it sits on the side of the road for 20 to 30 minutes. I replaced the fuel pump but that was not the problem.

Still stalling out; can't seem to pinpoint this problem, shall I blow it up? LOL

Have a 2000 lesabre custom with 77000 miles has a problem with stalling on occasion and sometimes is hard to start, after stalling may have to let it sit a few minutes before it will start it's been into...

We recently worked on a buick century with the same problem. we replaced the spark plugs and made sure the spark plug wires where on their tight and it ran like new. i hope this helps. BE CAREFUL AND DRIVE SAFE.

I have a 1996 Lesabre. I had a similar problem that slowly got worse. I brought it to two different mechanics that did diagnostic checks and could only "suggest" what to replace to fix the problem. Their problem was that it wouldnt stall out while they had the mv. After replacing a bunch of sensors and the fuel pump/ filter, I solved the problem by replacing the Crank Sensor. Its located behind the lower crank pulley on the 3.8 lt motor. Hope this helps!

I have replaced the fuel pump 2 times and don't know where to go from there, it just die in traffic and won't start again?
