I have a 2004 Range Rover HSE. I left my running lights on all night which drained my battery. I got a jump start...took 10 minutes to charge so must have been really dead. Its been running fine all day. It starts back up with no problem. The only issue is my keyless remote isn't working. I can manually lock and unlock doors...I can't even lock all doors from the interior button. Which means, I can't get into my trunk! Need help!! Any ideas??

Did the tow company put a fuse in position 37 of the glovebox fusebox? This puts the transfer case into Transfer Neutral for towing. Refer to the Owner's Manual under Emergency Information ->Vehicle Recovery->Towing for Recovery

Use a battery tender 12 volts, or a similar type low current automatic charger, putting out about 1.25 amps or so and connect to the positive and negative terminals of the battery as directed. FIRST wear protective goggles or safety glasses and be sure the battery cells are adequately filled to the proper level with distiller water. Then connect the charger, plug it in and observe the lights for proper charging. It usually takes about 24hours to charge a battery sufficiently this way, but doing so will do it safely and without need to remove the battery from the vehicle. I charge my LR battery about every 4 months like this to keep it like new.

You might be able to get under the car and connect jumper cables to the starter to charge the battery. Anything bigger than 12 gauge wire would do it.

was the key stuck in the ignition before you change the battery? Is it the right key or it a fresh cut key

Your alternator has went out. The engine shut off because it drained the battery and had no power left to run it.

I have had the same issues with the ignition switch, you can replace the switch, but in my case the solution was actually a new battery. The early L322 Range Rovers have a very high power drain with the vehicle turned off. I have never found a good solution for this except for a main battery cut-off which is not a good idea due to computer issues. If you have periods of time when you do not drive for over 2 weeks a cut-off would be worthwhile.
Load test your battery, and replace if necessary. A number of warning lights can come on when the battery is disconnected (or very low in charge), with a good battery they usually will go off after the vehicle is driven for about 100 yards.

Try disconnecting the vehicle battery for 45 mins then reconnect to see if the fault goes away

what is wrong with the car,, that you need to rewire. the wiring for suspention is independant.
