Radio effected by brakes?

Remove the radio and have it repaired by one of the many online repair businesses, average cost about $250.

need unlock code or take to any GM dealer to unlock

The antenna plugs in to the back of th radio. it could have came loose and fallen out. When you pull the radio and if the anteena is secure in it, then you have lost the receiver in the radio, very rare, Replace the radio at this ppoint.

This worked on my 04 CTS. This is a CTS without the GPS.

1) Turn key to On or Accy
2) Wait for the radio/clock display to load up.
3) Push the Tune/Select button at the lower right of the radio display. Nothing will appear to change.
4) There is a button to the right of the radio diplay with two horizontal lines on it. Push the lower of the two horizontal lines. The clock set option should appear.
5) Turn the Tune/Select button until the time is correct.
6) Push the Tune/Select button to lock the time in.

maybe antenna is dislodged from the connector.

check antenna cable connections at radio & antenna.suspect power antenna if equipped.

1. Open the ash tray and remove the felt lined insert, behind it is a bolt you need to remove.
2. With that bolt removed you can pop out the ash tray/climate control unit, and you will be able to see the two bottom bolts for the radio.
3. Above the radio you will need to pop out the ac vent, it isn't screwed in so you just have to pull on it and it will pop out. With the vent removed you will see the top two bolts for the radio.
4. Remove the 4 bolts and the radio will slide out.

Something to do with the reception or antena system..
Or the tuner in the radio is failing..

your car wont start if it goes out.it control injectors timing.your cam sensor and crank sensor works together they control ignition timing and fuel injection timing.

check the main DC power wires, for any damages...
else the there is a internal problem with the radio
