I would bet the water pump is either siezed or the impeller (which is plastic) is broken.
One thing you can do is let the engine run until the temp guage reads in the normal position. Feel the upper and lower hoses. If one is hot and the other is cold than there is no coolant flow.
If the thermostat where the problem than there would still be heat since the water pump is still working.
If there was heat before you changed the thermostat and know there is no heat than you have air in the system and it needs to be purged. You can do this by removing the radiator cap on a cold engine. Top off the coolant as necessary. Start the engine. Continue to monitor the coolant level and add as needed. Let the engine warm up until the fans come on. Replace the radiator cap and you should be good to go.

Check the passage of the coolant if there are debris or leaks. There might be a puncture on the engine block somewhere.

Go to the autozone website at autozone, com and register your vehicle. It's free and will give you access to an online repair manual for your vehicle. The steps for replacing the water pump on your car should be found there. Sure hope this helped and best wishes.

This may be very bad news. It sounds like a headgasket. First check the oil and see it it has milky loooking stuff in it. if not then thats good. Now you need to pull some spark plugs and see if any are wet. Turn it over a few times before pulling the plugs. if then you check and they are all dry then you are lucky and we can go on checking other things. If there is even one wet then your going to need a replacement on the headgasket. Let me know what you find out and we can try one thing before you go to buy the gasket. Pull all plugs and count the ones that are wet if any. The ends will be almost clack where the dry ones will be almost white. I will await your reply. Raz
