Have the computer scanned for codes. Once you know the codes ou will have a much better idea of what the problem is.

1 buy a code reader for about $50 and pull cos yourself
2 call you local parts store to see if the can pull codes for you.
3. Bring the vehicle to your local garage or dealer and have them do a diag. There is usua

i had the codes ran but i didnt get a copy ill get it re-read tomorrow. it only acts up on occasion, the vehicle just had a new cylinder head put in and lifters along with numerous gaskets and what not.. When it acts up it makes a noise almost as if it is misfiring and doesn't want to hardly move.. im baffled by it because im no slouch when it comes to vehicle repair. I'm the second owner and it has only 84,000miles on it.
