All the tail lights working but not reverse lights
SOURCE: My thermo fans are not
its probably a sensor or fuse maybe, i'm just guessing, or it could be a in line fuse, thats where two wires come together, and it is connected with a red or yellow connector some times they are blue, they are covered in plastic, metal in middle
SOURCE: tail lights and reverse lights out.
Check the bulbs for the tail/brake lights. If you put in single filament bulbs it will be on from the tail light voltage and the brakes will not show.
Try this;
Turn off the lights, press the brake pedal. Look at the brightness of the brake lights.
Now turn on the lights. Look at the brightness of the lights. If is the same as before the bulbs are wrong. You need two filament bulb.

you will have to puchase a window handle removal tool from your local parts store. KD makes a good one but you wiil have to use this tool to remove a clip that holds the "winder " on.
Testimonial: "Thanks verry much I would have broken it if I had kept going."

I suggtes check the back-up lights switch... the switch is on the near-side, behind the front wheel (Astra 2DI), took the wheel
off to make it easier to get at. A few inches above and slightly
forward of the drive-shaft, on the gearbox It has an armoured cable
going to it. Check this DIY for reference details: Replacing Reverse Light Switch
Other possibilitie, could be brake peddal switch (generally in back side of brake peddal).
Hope helps; keep us updated.
