My Petcock /drain plug for my Oldsmobile 1995 88 royal broke off while trying to tighten it how can I fix it without buying a new Radiater ?

So if it is tight and it does not leak, leave it. Just remember you will have to remove the Radiator next time you flush it. It is a 1995, so unless it is a keepsake or show piece, then leave it.

The petcock is usually metal at that year unless it was replace.

How to tell if the o2 sensor is bad?

An O2 sensor that is not functioning correctly or is reading a lean or rich fuel mixture turn on the check engine light in the dash, this is an Orange indicator. There are other reasons like the heater circuit in the O2 is defective, that is a different code. On this car you can read the signal out of the O2's using a special tool called a scanner, it plugs into the diagnostic port under the dash in front of the driver.

Hi, my name is Raul, I own a repair shop and I

I know if a fuel pressure regulator diaphram goes, it will emit fuel fumes in engine compartment. may not be but this is worth a try. a leaking regulator can cause hard starting, poor fuel economy, stalling, check engine light, gas smell under hood. take a fuel pressure reading. In most of the cases, the fuel pressure should read 45 p.s.i. to 55 p.s.i. for the injection mechanism and 14 to 18 p.s.i. in a throttle body injection assembly. Even a slight variation from the specified extremes may be acceptable, but a large deviation is a sign of problem and bound to result in engine failures. check fuel filter first.

What does code 12,63 and 65 mean for a 1989 royal---thanks

Code 12 is always the first code flashed it is just telling you that you have good communication with the ECM,your other 2 codes are for a O2 sensor problem.
