I lost my contact key. Before, I make copy for my key. So this key can open dors, turn lights on but can't start the car. Please help me

    I lost the key of starting up of my 1996 Nissan Maxima. Before I had made a copy of this key. This key opens the doors of the car, but does not manage to start the car. Pleases, help I to find a solution.

Nissan Xterra won't start with new key
Try contacting Nissan. On some vehicles there is a procedure for recoding the antitheft computer. This is when you get a key with a computer chip. Tell them you do not have a second key to start the recoding process. The owners manual may give you a procedure for making a copy of the original but it requires a second original key to do it.

Lost original keys
if it was me i would go to a toyota dealer with my vin number and if you look on the door it will tell you what month the car was made also take paper to the car registraton to prove you are the owner and they will get you a key you may even have to have the car tow so call the dealer ship first because the new key has to be program to work with the car

Hello my name is coman to resolve your problem you have to : try with a hard cable betwen the dor and the car and try to get to the dor handel or the pin and pul sow it should open the dor a second one is : if you have centry lock you can try to get tot the batery if you could get there you could thake a a wire from the batery and touch the batery sow it mai open thank you.
