Some times my car does missing (****).yesterday i had to go to 85 km away .till 15 km car had this problem but afetr 15 km that ran like there never some problem.i go to my office and return back good but after that whenever i have to go again out any where car does problem same for some kilometer.i changed plugs and fuel filter but problem is still there.

i dont think it is a timimg issue you either have a plug wire or a spark plug that is junk . IN it aint firing right thats wat id check take the plugs out one by one in check for black or fouled out plugs
Most of the engines are set at 15 degrees before top dead center, some of the civic (1.5) are set at 16 before, exc one that is 12 before. . You didn't specify what engine, but most of the 2.3, 2.2 are 15. Think you have one of these. Hope this helps yoou, rick
When you turn the key to start, the engine cranks over? You must check for spark and fuel, if one is missing, the car won't run. Pull a spark plug, with plug wire connected and plug on a metal surface of the engine, have someone turn the key to start, while you watch for spark at the plug. It is easiest to see spark with car out of direct or bright light. If you have spark, attempt to start several times, pull a spark plug and check for evidence of fuel (wet) on plug.
