Replaced fuel filter, now won't start

1998 Kia Sephia started dieing while driving, when slowing down engine just shuts off. Replaced the fuel filter and now I can not get the car to start at all. When the key is turned on you hear noise at fuel injectors, but nothing at fuel pump. Is there an emergency cutoff switch? Checked the fuel lines at filter and no gas going thru line at all. Please help!

2000 kia sephia cranks but engine wont run

The fuel pump may have died. Can you hear it turn on briefly, by turning the key to "on"? You may have to stand by the gas tank while someone turns the key to on. It should turn on for about 2 seconds and then stop, after pressurizing the fuel system. If you don't hear it, then check the fuel pump fuse. If the fuse is good, and the pump won't run, one needs to check that the fuel pump wire at the tank connector has battery voltage on it when the engine is cranking-then, you can assume the pump needs replacing.
If the pump is working and you have gas up to the engine, you would next check the ignition system. Start that by checking for spark on one of the spark plug wires.

A 1998 gmc Sierra driving down road at 60 and it just died replaced ignition module and in line fuel filter and now It won't even try's to start

Have you checked the fuel pressure? I think that the fuel pressure is between 55 or 60 pounds. They won't run under 52 pounds.

2000 kia sephia fuel pump/overheating/not turning over

sorry to tell you but you have a blown headgasket or cracked cylinder head. that is why the coolant blows out of the radiator and the engine won't start due to engine compression getting into the cooling system.

Engine turns but dies immediately, sometimes when

Change fuel filter and check air filter, if this doesnt help check fuel pump pressure.

I would check ignition items or fuel delivery if it just died on you. It wont be the battery unless it was dead and the alternator stop working.

2001 Kia Sephia, WAS running, but missing when taking off.

I had this problem after the engine was replaced on my 2001 Sephia, it's a sendor on the engine. This sensor is actually turning the engine off and on while driving... my mechanic replaced it with the one from my old engine and it is fine now

Check the fuel system. Cheap first....fuel filter. Then the fuel pump. The engine does actually turn over, but it just won't start...correct?
