I have to ask - since you didn't include any other info - do any lights work? If not - you may have a dead battery. You can attempt to jump the car or put a charger on the battery. Once started, you should drive the car w/ minimal accessories on (if jumped to start) to allow the battery to charge. You should have the batter checked for possible replacement or service very soon. You need to have the security system scanned when this problem is occurring, it could be a door ajar switch that is defective.

My gas cap was broken in the center so I replaced it with a new one and the tighten gas cap message went out after a couple of hours driving.

This sounds to me like an anti theft system failure. When your key does not communicate well will the TDM (theft deterrent module) in your vehicle, the car thinks it is being stolen and trys to prevent this by shutting down. The TDM in the security system (VATS/PassKey) is having problems, it's typical on those cars. You can find a great write-up here: http://newrockies.ca , it was the only thing that saved my Park Avenue.

Have 2000 Buick Lesabre custom every time car gets up to operating temp. the engine misses going down the road , also let car sit and idle and it shuts off after about 2 minutes , my code reads PO171 system to lean bank 1, changed co2 censor, mass air flow censor, plug wires, and plugs.

disconnect the batterys and retry, this resets the computer. also try ign switch check.

when i start my car the security system comes on some times it will go off while iam driving and some times it will not start i have to take the keys out and put them back in before it will start when it does that it won't even turn over there nothing iam so puzzled why it does that it don't do it all the time after it starts then i don't have any trouble with it could it be my keyless lock does my brakes have any thing to do with it today i hit my brakes any the security light came on it is driving me crazy
