Northstar engines are known for intake manifold leaks and also for intake manifold coupler leaks. I do not know what else you could be describing. The only "black cover" I can think of would be the intake manifold. There is not much of anything else on top of a Northstar engine.(except the silver plastic cover that has "32V Northstar" moulded into it.)

Where to find the fuel presure regulator ON 98 LINCOLN TOWN CAR?

As you look into the engine compartment with the cover off the engine, the alternator is top front center. Look a little to the left of the alternator near the front of the passenger side vakve cover. You will see the regulator with a vacuum port coming off the right side and the fuel return line coming off the left side. Thd regukator is attached to the fron of the fuel rail.

Need diagram showing how to install belt belt came off need to know how it go on and how to ajust it

first jack up the right front tire side of your car and remove cover under your car motor, so you can see your pulleys from underneath your car, remove black cover where your timing chain belt is thats on the top center between alternator and powersteering pulleys, ok,looking at all your pulleys from your right side of your front end, starting from your top left is your alternator pulley, put belt on it and go underneath the motor mount to your right top powersteering pulley, then go down around the bottom right ac pulley, then to your left bottom crankshaft pulley, the back side of the belt thats on your top alternator pulley wraps around the soft edge pulley thats above your center waterpump pulley, then wrap around the idler pulley that's under your top alternator pulley, then wrap the backside of your remaining belt around the tensioner pulley that's in on your right, under your top ac pulley, use a 13 mm wrench to adjust by turning towards the back of your car so you can slide the belt on

HOW TO PUT FREON ON LINCOLN LS 2000

1--Turn your stearing wheel all the way to the left, so you can get to the a/c compressor, (compressor is under the car, on drivers side, near left front tire)
2 --On the drivers side, Jack up the car, a black cover under the car conceals the compressor, 2 little screws removes the cover, look for the compresser, left side near the front tire, once you remove the cover you can see the compressor.
3--there is a black or blue cap on the end of the compressor, this is where you input your refrigerant.
4-- turn your car on, turn AC on High
5. connect the the refrigerant tube to the compressor, and allow 5 to 10 min for it to go thru your cooling system.
6. check your ac for coldness.

hope this helps you good luck

Need to pull moter out. does it come out the top or bottem?

If you are taking it out of a minivan, the easiest way would be to disconnect the entire front end (suspension) and lift the van - pull the old engine off, install new one, lower van, reconnect everyting. Check first to see if the cross memeber is welded on one side. I had an 87 Buick Century that I had another engine put into, and they were gonna take it from under the car, as I mentioned above, and when i looked underneath, the cross member was welded on one side, and bolted on the other. Very strange if you ask me. I think raising the vehicle (if you have a lift or jacks and jack stands to get it high enough. I hope this was helpful.

Block heater for 98 dodge neon

Well the block heater itself is usually way under the engine where you can't see it, so I'm thinking you want the plug & cord that makes it work so you can plug it in. My 95 neon had it coiled up laying near the top of the fender under the hood on drivers side, if i remember correctly. It had a black cap over the plug which made it hard to find sometimes, even though I thought I knew where it was. Sometimes it would fall down behind or beside the engine controller.(gray looking computer box) I was always looking for a shiny plug-in type end but it was covered with a hard to see black little cap over it. I used a flashlight, and went along the top of the fenders until I spotted what looked similar to a black extension cord, then followed it to the end, and that's how I found it most times. Try going along drivers side top of fender first, then passenger fender, and then along the front, and maybe even attached in behind grille at front of car sometimes.
