I bought a 2004 Mits Eclipse GS a couple of weeks ago. It has 78,000 miles on it. The rear defroster and the a/c does not work, the lights for the buttons come on when you turn them on but nothing happens. The sales guys said that the a/c works off and on. I did get it to work when I bought it but hasn't worked since. Please let me know if you know what is wrong. My husband is pretty good with cars but this is the first car that we have owned thats not a GM. Thanks Mandy

This item is a self learning part. You will need to put the car in gear and have the emergency brake on. Also have your left foot on the brake pedal for the front brakes. Rev the RPMs up to 1200 & no more and hold it there for 5 minutes. That will set the IAC to the setting needed to idle. It is a computerized controlled item and the feature here presented to you will set the learning code to the computer
