Hi. I have a bmw e34 525i 1990 model, my windscreen wipers switch on when i have removed the ignigtion key ????? any solutions for this please ?

bad switch change it.

2things it could be,the wiper motor,or the switch that turns them on,if power is going to switch and it doesn't work,then maybe switch,apply .You can always take switch or motor back if they there not the problem.

2004 Rover 75 Diesel Model. Alarms keep activating, having trouble with door locks and windscreen wipers come on when key is taken out of ignition??

You need to take off the scuttle pan which is located just under the windscreen I know on the newer model this is held on with a few torque bolts and 10mm bolts this will give you access to the wiper motor and the wiper arms and hopefully give you the answer to your problem

Hi in glove box pozition 1 30A windscreen wiper motor relay.

This a safety feature in the BMW if the ignition is forced it breaks
need to replace the ignition cylinder

Removing and installing/replacing lock cylinder for steering wheel lock

Car with ring antenna:
Remove lower section of steering column trim.
Using special tool 61 3 300, press ring antenna off locking cylinder.



With ignition key, use workshop key for better accessibility, turn lock cylinder to "R" position = radio, windscreen wiper, fan.

Caution: On vehicles with freewheel lock cylinder up to 10/95: twist lock cylinder back through 12°.



Push special tool 32 3 110 into hole of lock cylinder an swivel handle forward by approx. 90°. Remove lock cylinder.



You can substitue a pick for the tool

Where exactly is the rear wiper relay in an X3??

check the windscreen washer strainer it could be glogged up or it coud be a faulty windscreen motor pump.

Sound like the key barrel is broken, remove the swith from the back of the ignigtion and check the barrel.

just turn of the wiper switch turn off the key 30 sec later, move the wiper arm to the park position, then remove the caps plastic caps at the start off the wiper arm ( if fitted) and then tigthen the nut there and that should fi it
