I had the cjutch replaced and now no spark. The mech. went all through the elecs. and couldn't find prob. I have a light flashing inside the ECU,(L.E.D.) three times quickly. The big prob is no spark at coil, do the flashes mean anything? I am a motorcycle mech. and have a bit of knowledge, but I hate changing part after part until prob is fixed. Is it ECU, or breakerless trigger, or............ HELP please!!!
I have fire from coil but no fire to plugs ,,i also put on new distribtor still no fire to plugs
The flashing usually refers to an error code. long and short flashes translate into a number, then you look it up.
long flash = 10's digit
short flash = 1's digit
long long long short = 31
email me if you want and i'll look up the code for you.
Doesnt the crank sensor use the flywheel for its signal maybe the sensor got damaged during the clutch job
I hate to say it but check for pinched or knocked off wire from when the clutch got replaced Is there 12V on the + side of the coil? Is there a blinking test light on the - side of the coil? if so and no out put the coil is bad and we can stop looking for a trigger problem.
You do have 12v going into the distributor key on right?
Can I call u? or you call me 253-691-6206

I don't believe this car has one, it uses the trigger in the distributor as that sensor. I think that may be the prob though.
