It is actually the Check System light (with yellow exclamation and red exclamation). I do have an owner's manual, but I cannot find a fix.

This light How to turn off maintenance req'd warning lights o - 7407fc2.jpg correct? to troubleshoot this light, the car can be scanned with any OBD2 scanner/code reader. after it has been scanned, the scanner will have an option to erase all codes. once they have been erased the light will go off.

the only other way to make the light go off is to disconnect the battery for 15-30min. this will reset the engine ECU, causing the light to go off but also will erase any codes that may be stored in the EC
U. if the ecu resets and car is started and detects the same problem the light will come back on.

Check to make sure that the fuel tank cap is on tight.
When the fuel tank cap is loose:
The electronic engine control system warning light comes on as a temporary malfunction.

1 - Press & Hold the ODO trip reset button on the instrument cluster.

2 - Turn on the ignition on without starting the motor.(Push IGN switch without pressing the brake.)

3 - Continue to hold the trip reset button until the ODO shows "000000" The light will now be reset for another 5k.

1. Turn your ignition switch on.
2. Press the Trip Computer switch until "Maintenance" is displayed. The trip computer button is located above the "Trip Reset" button and has a square graphic printed on it.
3. Press the "Select" button to enter the "Maintenance" menu. The "Select" button is above the "Trip Reset" button and has a circle graphic on it.
4. Press and hold the "Trip Reset" button for about 10 seconds until the maintenance reminder resets.

My child away at college, has a Rav4, 2008 with a warning light on that looks like "tire tread?" Just had the oil changed 2 weeks ago, so shouldn't have anything to do with that. Sound familiar?...

That symbol (tire tread) could mean a low tire pressure. The majority of vehicles today have the low tire pressure warning system, which indicates that one or more of the tires are below the minimum tire pressure. Have the tire pressure checked in each tire. As for turning the warning light off, some vehicles the light will go out after tires are inflated properly. Have them check the owner's manual for resetting warning light. Please inform me as to whether or not it was the tires...thanks.

How to disable seatbelt alarm on 2003 F-150?

There is a procedure in the owners manual on page 110.

    BeltMinder activation and deactivation procedure
    1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN (or ON) position. (DO NOT START THE ENGINE.)
    2. Wait until the safety belt warning light turns off. (Approximately 1–2 minutes.)
    • Steps 3–5 must be completed within 60 seconds or the procedure will have to be repeated.
    3. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled. This can be done before or during BeltMinder warning activation.
    4. Turn on the parklamps/headlamps, turn off the parklamps/headlamps.
    5. Buckle then unbuckle the safety belt three times, ending with the safety belt unbuckled
    • After step 5 the safety belt warning light will be turned on for three seconds.
    6. Within seven seconds of the safety belt warning light turning off, buckle then unbuckle the safety belt.
    • This will disable BeltMinder if it is currently enabled, or enable BeltMinder if it is currently disabled.
    7. Confirmation of disabling BeltMinder is provided by the safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
    8. Confirmation of enabling BeltMinder is provided by:
    • The safety belt warning light flashing four times per second for three seconds.
    • Followed by three seconds with the safety belt warning light off.
    • Once again, the safety belt warning light will flash four times per second for three seconds.
    9. After receiving confirmation, the deactivation/activation procedure is complete.

I purchased a 2006 Toyota Corolla this past June, and I love it. A light came on this morning, and I don't know what it's a picture of. It's on the far left, and it's not the maintenance light. I'm...

I suggest review your 2006 Toyota Corolla Owners Manual (page 5) for details about cluster and warning lights. You have the CE/LE, S, XRS models for the light location.

I am assuming that is the light of "service" only 450 for reaching the limit, and is one advise.

I really hope helped with this; remember rated this help. Good luck.
