Generator starts and gives power then 15 minutes later it shuts down ,oil is not below level i checked it , i am being able to make a load on it i was using 9 ampers ,Fuel tank is full ,suddenly lights go off from the house.
Give the unit a good shake. Possible that the float that sits in the oil sump is stuck. It sits on the oil and sends a shut down signal if the oil level is low. A sticky float will give this false signal.

check oil level low or no oil causes no start so does --your oil sender may have failed --oil sender also has a screen filter which causes low or no pressure =oil pump problem ==the truck wont start or may start and shut off immediately
Oil level is likely low and when braking falls below its needed level causing light to come on . Check oil dipstick with engine cool or at least 15 minutes after shutting engine off .
Something electronic is overheating , transistor , . the engine computer , ignition module . crankshaft position sensor. Also check PCM power relay . losing power . Check for spark , fuel pressure when it stops running , see what is missing .
No, the issues are probably not related. If you are low on oil, you risk blowing your engine; that's why a tow was recommended. However, it's easier and cheaper to add oil... If you are getting a low oil pressure indication and you have a normal oil level, you should not run the engine until the problem is fixed (bad oil pump, blown or worn oil seal(s), etc.) Low oil level can result in low oil pressure, which damages the engine.
At this point, you may want to consider whether the vehicle is worth the cost of the repair. If it hasn't used oil before, the problem may be relatively simple - it could even be a faulty oil pressure sensor. But if it's blowing blue smoke or cylinder compression is way below specification, the engine is likely due for an overhaul or replacement.
This is the "Low Oil Pressure Warning" light. It is RED for a reason! When this light (or any RED warning light for that matter) comes on, pull over and shut the engine OFF at once. Allowing the engine to run with insufficient oil pressure can cause a catastrophic failure in mere seconds. Such a failure can cost thousands of dollars to repair. This warning is most often the result of a very low oil level as indicated when checking on the oil dipstick. The engine oil level should be maintained as close to the "full" mark as possible - without exceeding it. Oil should never be allowed to drop below the "low" mark on the dipstick. If the oil level is shown to be between full and low, the light is probably coming on as a result of a faulty oil pump (the oil level should be checked with the vehicle parked on level ground, with the engine OFF). A faulty oil pump is unable to pump the oil with enough pressure to reach all the moving parts of the engine that require lubrication. Without proper lubrication, connected moving parts heat up, expand and seize. Moving parts are expected to move - not be prevented from moving. If your engine shut down, it may be the result of some of the internal parts seizing. Hopefully, this is not the case. Check the oil level and top off as needed to bring the level up and attempt to start the engine and have the vehicle checked by a trusted mechanic. Good luck!
You might check the coolant level after the engine cools,if it's low add 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. Keep an eye on the level to see if it happens again. You might have a small leak in the system. Good luck
could be anything from bad fuel filter to a bad fuel pump to bad plug wires or low fluid levels even dry-rotted vacuum lines ...if the check engine light is on many Auto-zone or Midas stores will diagnose for free. could be a sensor is bad as well
CHECK GAGES light (1) indicates a potential engine failure(low oil pressure, low coolant, coolant overheating) has occurred. · Check gages and shut down engine. Gages should read as follows: Oil pressure 5 to 10 psi (34 to 69 kPa) at idle; Water Temp gage below 230 degrees (110 C).
· Check engine oil level (Para 2-11) if OIL PRESS gage indicates low reading. Check coolant level (Para 2-11) if Water Temp gage indicates high reading. Notify Unit Maintenance if levels are low.
If CHECK ENGINE light (2) is on, check engine oil pressure gage (3) and water temperature gage (4). If both indicate normal, proceed with mission and then notify Unit Maintenance. If either one does not indicate normal, stop engine immediately and notify Unit Maintenance
You are losing oil pressure, this means your oil pump is probably out. Don't drive it anymore until you can get that repaired. It's shutting down because it's siezing up. You need the extra power to jump it because the piston rings and wall are sticking together, let it all cool down and the rings contract and loosens up. Allowing the engine to turn.
when you say stalls, do you mean shut off of just get low on power?
my check engine light comes on and then oil press light come on and the car shuts off but the lights and music stayed on.
if its that the car needs oil and shuts down to protect itself but it will turn on minutes later.
if stalls periodically, shows check engine light and the car looses a bit of power, in the engine, :
1. your coolant may be having problems getting to the engine in the way it was met to get to the engine
2. the belt might be a bit off and that could be why you get the slipping feeling
3. your exhaust may be a bit clogged. or your engine may need cleaning
i had both problems my car shut off and my engine was slipping. my EXPENSIVE but great machanic found out it was my oil level and my coolant was rusty and not getting to the engine. now she drives like the original 97 olds 88
