2004 Trailblazer: Sometimes dies while driving then won't start unless it sits awhile

Had it to 2 different A dealerships and a small mechanic's shop already. Nobody can seem to diagnose the problem. Seems to die while deaccelerating more, but did die once while driving down the road at 45 mph. Once it stalls, it doesn't always start back up. The dealerships and mechanic have all said that there are no trouble codes and that the fuel pressure was fine during one episode when it stalled plus there were no trouble codes showing while it happened either. Can anyone help me? I keep reading about the ignition switches being the problem, but the dealer says that a trouble code would have appeared. Could it be in the keys at all, because at one time it did have a remote starter on it.

First, there is no trouble code for the ignition switch that would show, exspecially if it is just a sparatic happening, i suggest getting the ignition replaced, you will get new keys and every thing with the new ignition set, this is the more likely cause of the problem.

Why does my car try to die when i drive down the road?

Try to check the ignition coil, when you driving it become hot then the car dies end won't start. After awhile when it's cold, then it will start. Replace the ignition coil.
I hope it solves the problem

Car starts fine after sitting awhile. If you drive awhile then stop and try to restart it won't.

Check the electronics, cam sensor or crank sensor these are the culprits.

My 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee started knocking. Multiple local mechanics determined it needed new motor. A "reman" motor was puchased ($3600) and installed. On test drive the car ran great then...

All I can say is do some research online find a REPUTABLE shop and let them drive it until it dies. Three things are needed for an engine to run: spark, fuel, compression. I doubt it is a compression problem being that it is a new engine. Something is causing either spark or fuel to drop out, a good mechanic should be able to quickly identify what is missing from the equation. Find a shop with a lab scope that can test sensors that send signals to the engine computer. It could be as simple as a fuel pump getting hot and quitting. Good Luck!

will try to help. if your engine isn't getting a full 12 volt charge to your battery it will do crazy stuff, like the guages rolling all the way around and different lights will come on. i suggest you have the battery checked, also check your altenator. if you're near an autozone or advance auto parts store, they will check both altenator and battery for free.after your car dies, you let it sit for say,2hours and then it starts, battteries will sometimes build their charge up own their own, but usually only enough to drive for very short distances. that should explain your next question, why does it restart after it sits for awhile? hope this helps and as always thank you for choosing fixya.com

Front fents not working on chevy 2004 trailblazer other vents ok

yes, if you vent is not working when adjusting direction control, the problems is behind the ac control unit, common problems with GM. you going to have to tear into the dash and see what linkage broken or came off, not hard to do on blazer if have some mechanical incline background and some tools, it not hard but time consuming. Or drive behind any dealership and ask any mechanics does he know any one does a side work, you be surprise, many shop have mechanics that does side job, saving you lots of money from shop cost. 35-40 buck to fix with out part.

Car dies and battery light comes on.

Will it crank over when it won't start? When It dies check for spark at the sparkplugs if none change the ignition module.
