Ford Freestar Message Center not visible. Need help resetting tire warning light.

You can't reset the tire pressure warning light (TPMS), when the pressure is adjusted or the sensor replaced (if the warning is false) the light will go out, there is no reset. Check the air pressure in all the tires, they should be about 34 PSI all around.

I changed 1 of my valve sensor so i need to no how to reset the tpms light

By operating the tire pressure warning reset switch, the tire pressure warning ECU can be set to issue a warning at an inflation pressure that corresponds to the standard pressure of tires .Therefore, you must set the warning threshold to the proper value in order to comply with the local regulations .Operate the tire pressure warning reset switch only after the inflation pressures of all tires have been adjusted on the vehicle. To initialize the system, press and hold the tire pres- sure warning reset switch for 3 seconds or longer with the ignition switch in the ON position. When the system receives the
initialization signal, the warning light blinks 3 times (1 second on, 1 second off). During initialization, the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter measures the inflation pres sure of the tire, and registers the signals that are transmitted into the tire pressure warning ECU at a frequency of once per minute. The initialization process is completed when signals from all the tires have been received. It takes a few minutes .

I switched tires on my 07 GMC sierra the orgional tires have a max of 44 psi and the new ones have a max of 80 psi i aired them up to 65 psi and now its telling me to check tire pressure

Hello: Do not go by the pressure printed on the tires. On the drivers door frame or door sill there is a white tag that gives the recommended tire pressure for the truck. If tire(s) are over inflated or under inflated the light will come on........ Once you get the proper pressure in the tires and drive it the light should go out. If when the new tires were installed they didn't put the wheels back in the same position the the location of each wheel will have to be reprogrammed into the system.

We just had new tires put on the front of our 2005 freestar and the light keeps coming on even after reseting it numerous times what do we do?

if the pressures are ok, and the reset procedure does not fix it, it is likely that one of the sensors became damaged during the tire change. you should return to the service center that changed the tires and have them check it out.

before that, check that ALL FOUR of your tires are set to 35 psi. the system works on pressure differentials (not just low pressure) so make sure ALL the tires are set equally. also note that some systems may also have a sensor in the spare tire, and can cause the light to come on also. please check the door tag on your van to confirm what the pressures are supposed to be set at. good luck!

2006 lexus gs300 tire pressure reset button where is it located?

there is not a reset for the tire pressure monitor system, the system resets its self when all tires are inflated to the proper psi. 35 psi . dont forget about the spare. if all tires are properly inflated check the "2nd set" switch. it is located under the dash on the passenger side. sometimes they get bumped accidently. unless you have a 2nd set of wheels with sensors the switch should be set to "main"

My Ford Freestar Minivan is reading RESET TIRE where the milage should show. What do I do?

I believe that one of your tires is low on air causing the pressure monitor to kick in. Check all your tires to make sure the inflated to the proper PSI which will be located on one of the door jambs

Tire pressure monitor

32 psiis actually low for a 3500. I have a 1500 silverado that runs 44 psi cold. The tire inflation monitor , monitors inflated cirunference. Sooooo, If it isn'nt round enough, it will let you know. Driving warms up both the air and the tire, off course changing everything again. Pressure is up and tire is bigger. Ask me not how it can tell what is going on with the tire sitting still. I'm only on page 9,000, the answer is here somewher. :-) Well good luck. I do know the above is accurate._Ned_
