What does your temperature gauge say? Make sure you're not overheating. Steam is always an indicator that something is amiss with the radiator. Never open it when it's hot!

Yes there is a headlight fuse(or two) under the hood. However I've had many customers who were driving around with one lowbeam and never noticed until the second one burned out, scary, but true!!!
could be a lot of different things. bad heater core, cracked, ripped, or soft hoses, crack in the radiator, bad thermostat, clogged lines. next time you run the vehicle, try to see if you can see under the hood to see where the steam is coming from. that will help you to see if there is a bad line or hose. then try to flush the radiator to see if there is a clog in the lines. then go to get a new thermostat if none of those. then you get into the more expensive items the heater core and the radiator.
