1994 Honda Accord Logo

Hi, I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX and about a year ago i had the ignition switch replaced because the car would die and when I tried to start it nothing would happen. No dash lights, radio, fuel pump wouldnt kick on - nothing! Now a year later my car is doing the same thing again. I checked all the battery cables, connections to alternator and starter so i know thats not the problem. Could it be that the ignition switch has went out again? I went to start it yesterday and when i turned the key over, the radio would come on and off but nothing else would happen. No dash lights, no fuel pump engage - nothing. I was driving down the road the day before yesterday and it just died, right in the middle of the road while turning at a light. Can someone please help me try to figure out what this could be? I ordered another ignition switch and it should be here this week, im hoping this is all thats wrong with it. Thank you

1994 honda accord lx battery light comes on &am & engine looses power what can be the problem?

I would check alternator, does the car stay running if you unplug the battery + after starting it? the car should stay running with alternator power alone if the car dies alternator is bad. if it does not you have to check ignition, fuel delivery or compression.

I have one Honda Accord 1999. One time, when I was driving, brake and steering wheel locked; oil light, battery light and brake light were on. What's happened to my car?

I have '99 accord LX 4cyl sedan and the ignition switch is a problem for these cars. I replaced my ignition 2 or 3 years ago because it would randomly shut off and sometimes not start back up right away. It only got worse until I fixed it, it would die on the highway or freeway sometimes. Haven't had that problem since. i think it cost like $240 or so. Also if you have an automatic, be careful, they are notoriously bad for going out after 100k miles. mine did and its an expensive fix. good luck.

I have a 1994 honda accord lx that dies while I'm

More than likely this would be the ignition module or the ignition stator (AKA distributor pickup coil).

Car dies while driving, now it won't start sometimes

Could be a fuel pump that is going bad. Some times when fuel pumps go bad they cavitate and pump not just gas but also air. If you get too much air in the line and not enough gas the car won't start. Have a mechanic check your fuel line pressure.
