Ok, none of the positions on the key cylinder are turning on the radio or clock. This was after I removed the face of the dash to check the radios wiring just to be sure that everything was good. when I remounted everything and turned my car on not radio no clock. I checked all the fuses because i didn't have a diagram for what fuse did what.

Usualy the check engine light reports a malfuction in your engine performance system, it coulb be a misfire, bad sensors, vaccum leak, you need to have your engine code read from a garage or an auto parts store that offers the service for free.

Call your local National Guard Armory, Fire Station, State College auto program or High School Auto Shop and ask if they have somebody that would come put it on for you. Ask you pastor who the "auto guy" in the church is, if you don't have a church call the biggest church closest to you and ask the receptionist if they have an "auto guy" that would help you. The local senior center or VFW hall have "auto guys" . If you were within 50 miles of 83501 I'd come do it for you.

Could be as simple as a blown fuse for the ETACS module, but it sounds more like a problem with the anti theft immobilizer system. Does your car have remote keyless entry? And is the key you are using a factory key or one someone made? (factory key will be encased in bulky black plastic with hyundai logo) The transponder in the key might have worn out and is not talking to the car anymore. Some hyundais use the radio antenna to receive the signal, is there an antenna on the car? Is it hooked up? If it is a problem with the key and immobilizer system, It will unfortunately need towed to a dealer and reprogrammed.
