Check fuse number 14 in the passenger compartment fuse block it should be a 10 amp fuse. If the fuse is good you will need to find the brake switch under the drivers side of the dash. It will be mounted on the brake pedal lever. You may need to remove a trim panel to gain acces to it. There should be 12 volts on the green wire all the time. The green with black wire should have power when the brake pedal is depressed. If there is no power you will need a new brake switch. If there is power than yu will need to pull the taillight assembly and check for power at the socket. If the third brake light is working than you can skip all of the above and start by checking the bulbs. It is still possible for all the bulbs to be burned out so it wouldn't hurt to at least check one of them to see if it is good. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. Thank you for using FixYa.com!

After having my 2006 santa fe serviced at 60000 miles, my cruise control doesn't work. I had it lubed, radiator flush, oil change, brakes checked, timing belt replaced, water pump replaced.

Try checking all of your rear brake lights to see if they are working. If you have a burned out bulb the control cannot complete the circuit and the cruise will not work. Dont forget the third brake light sometimes have more than one bulb in them so check closely to make sure that all bulbs are good.
