If you do not have a sealed beam assembly, then remove the four screws on top...when the headlight assembly comes out unclip the harness from the bulb assembly. Pull the bulb out and replace...don't touch the halogen bulb with your fingers...just the plastic base.

I had this same problem, I used this blog link to replace the bulb in both of my headlights. I'll be honest here and tell you the passenger side is much easier than the drivers side. I'd recomend two of you be there for the first one, after that it's a one person job.

There is a clip that pries up with small flathead screwdriver. The harness and bulb are held in lens with a plastic ring that screws on and off.

1. Unplug the three-prong electrical connector.
2. Pull off rubber boot on back of headlamp
3. A spring clip holds the bulb in the assembly. Un-hook one side and swing the clip back.
4. Slide the old bulb straight out.
5.Wearing
disposable gloves so that skin oil doesn't get on the new bulb, open
the new bulb's package and insert the new bulb straight into the
holder, making sure it goes all the way to the front. The middle
electrical prong should be up.
6. Swing the retaining spring back and re-clip.
7. Slide the rubber boot back on the rear of the assembly, making sure that the electrical prongs are exposed.
8. Re-connect the three-prong electrical connector.
9. Turn on lights and make sure it works.

Got as far as the bolts from the headlamp - but afterwards could not get the headlamp off of the vehicle. Seems to be held in place by something on the turn signal lamp. Headlamp seems to move freely, but held by something that I can't see.
