I have a problem with my manual transmission. The manual stick gets stuck every so often, especially when the car has been sitting for a few hours. Once I shift it to the side (right) then it shifts ok for most of the the time. Its not grinding the gear, but in the process from neutral to the gear it gets stuck (sticks) when changing to 5th gear. Alsmost like something is in the way or rusty. I appreciate you help in this matter. Thank you very much.

You really cannot mis it. It is at the front of the engine, top center. Black can-shaped housing. Unscrew the top of the housing and replace the paper element inside.

Hi Stuart, the battery light indicates that the alternator is not charging. The alternator needs to be repaired or replaced in the case where the alternator is the problem. Before replacing the alternator you might want to check your fuses. It might be that one of the main fuses blew, causing the alternator not to charge. The traction control light will come on if it detects a problem with the supply voltage to the control unit caused by the alternator not charging.
