I had this problem on my gto i turned out it was the wire from the oil pressure sender unit , it was all corroded with oil and ready to snap off , try the wiring first and if its not that then the oil pump is on its way out.

Sounds like you may have 2 problems the main one to worry about is your appaent loss of oil pressure
the best thing to do withthis is get the pressure checked with a second METER direct from the oil pressure switch outlet
as a quick easy test you could try putting a can of STP oil treatment in and see if the pressur shows any improvement
but to save an expensive blown engine get the actual oil pressure checked
Your stalling and missfire sound like the ilding stepper motor is stuck or damaged due to crud in your fuel the unit is removeable and can be cleaned along with it's housing using a propriety carburettor cleaner well worth a try before paying out lots of ££££ for a new unit

No oil pressure???
Mitsubishi in their infinite wisdom has TWO oil pressure measurement sub-systems, first is the gauge, which really isn't a gauge, it sending unit measures pressure, sends the signal to the engine control module, which "smooths and normalizes" the signal, and displays the "manufactured" value on the gauge with no numbers - FYI, a real oil pressure gauge should behave like a tach, with 10 or more psi per 1000 rpm.
The second sub-system drives the oil pressure light, it illuminates when the pressure is less than 2-3 psi or so.
Having two pressure checks allows you to verify if the situation is really as dire as you think. If your gauge says 0 oil pressure, and the light is not on, the gauge is wrong, and it is either the sending unit, or the wire to the sending unit.
Our oil pumps don't fail that quickly, you will usually see a trend lower in oil pressure as it starts to go out.
What concerns me more is the combination of overheating and low pressure. Our cars (I have 2 myself) can be prone to spun bearings as the mileage goes up, and heat, and low oil pressure can be indicators, is it making any noise??? Spun bearings are often accompanied by rod knock, kind of like lifter tick (something we ALL can identify with) but "deeper" in both tone, and location... its a lower frequency knocking sound that sounds like it is coming from deeper in the engine.
