Replace rear seat belt in 1993 Toyota Corolla

Seat base is not bolted.Grab under front of base with both hands near the ends and just snatch up quickly.Pull the seat base out from the car and the bolts for seat belts are visable.

it is possible the seat belt has turned and knotted itself.take the seat belt ang pull it all the way out,its entire length and let it back in slowly uon its own maintaining slight pessure on the belt ,making sure it does not twist on its way in.now try the belt,if it was twisted or knotted it should now work properly.if not check the return spring to see that it is not rusted or broken.spraying some wd 40 on the return spring and pulling the seat belt in and out normally will cure the jamming.

i think my new 2012 toyota corolla back seat seat belt are put in incorrectly from factory.

the right belt clip buckle clip says"Center" when it should be right, and the center is the right. so when i buckle the back seat belts they are kinds crossing each other . Why ? any suggesions?

the return spring may be broken, if so the seat belt will need replacing.....cheers.

The inertia reel has not been mounted properly. Replacing Toyota belts is quite tricky. Follow the step by step procedure illustrated in manual below. Belts are included in seat removal procedure (clearly do not remove seat). Check chapter starting at page 183/184 in manual below.

the camry does NOT have the type of belt you require.only answer is replacements or change the child seat to one that fits the anchorages.

Your best bet would be an auto salvage yard. The dealer will likely be a little pricy. Hope this helps.

most likely - you will need to remove the seat or just unbolt the entire mechinizem. Yours has a rubber cover to hide the bolt.

Remove the old - replace the new.

U can't replace parts of seat belts, u either must buy an entire belt assembly or find a used one, which I don't recommend, the reason they don't sell parts is safety related.
