I have a 2006 Ford escape 2 wd my overdrive indicator light is flashing on panel and it want go in overdrive is there a switch or relay needs to be replaced if so where will it be ?

OK your O/D light will illuminate and stay on, when not in overdrive. The button to switch it on is on the side of the selector.
If as in your case it is flashing, according to the handbook, you need to have your transmission serviced. I'll give you the link the the manual for a 2005 Escape which won't be to dissimilar.

Ford Escape 2006 unlock buttons not working

Sounds like a problem with the central timer (lock) controller.

This is not an easy item to work on and diagnose, and can be almost impossible without a scan tool and a factory troublshooting flow chart

The cruise control does not work. It failed completely. All other electrical funtions normal.

Does the button for the crusie feel normal? if so check the fuse also check the intake cable to see if the crusie cable is bound up and spray wd-40 on it and work it back and forth with your hads to make sure it's free. if yo still can't find the problem e-mail me and I will tell you what to check next.

Power window failure on 2002 Ford Escape

I have a 2001 Ford Escape. My driver window doesn't alway roll up when I push the button. As silly as it sounds, when the driver window won't come up, I roll down the front passenger window and then push the buttons for both front windows. The driver window comes up then. I've been doing this for about 6 mos. so eventually it will probably fail. But it is a short time fix.
