SOURCE: Yellowish-Green LEAK HELP!
I am guessing that you may have mold (green) in the water coming from your Air Conditioner or from the water channels where the water flows from the car vents to the ground. Usually green is the coolant. Could also be a prankster the poured some lime flavored pop/soda under your car or one leaked in the trunk? Did someone else park there and you are seeing their leaked stuff? Without more info, this is just wild guesses. Where is the leak seen - inside the car? under the engine? floor of a garage? outside in the street? Maybe even windshield washer fluid was that color if it spoiled?
SOURCE: what color antifreeze
I like to keep dex cool in a gm and not mixing it. you can but it is hard to tell if it is dirty later down the road because of the color it makes when you mix it.
SOURCE: I have a 2001 yukon XL. The coolant is
coolant doesnt evaporate out of the engine. it has to be going somewhere find a shop that can add some uv dye into your radiator and check for leaks
Testimonial: "I dont think the dealer checked for that yet. They did a block test and pressure tested it, all normal. I will call them and ask. THANKS!"
SOURCE: Low coolant light is still on after adding coolant.
What happens is the low coolant sensor is at the bottom of the fill bottle and all the dirt and grime get on it and it will not sense the coolant. You can usually tap on the bottle where the coolant sensor is and the light will go off or just replace it.It will either be on the bottom of the over flow bottle or in the radiator tank where the cap is.About 5 or 6 inches down.Hope this helps.Good luck.
