3. ABS/EDL/ASR/ESP Mark 60. 1C0907379M. ESP front MK60 coding 11266. 1 fault detected, Engine control module. Read fault memory.

    Hi Ginko
Thanks for your advice, The diagnostic check was carried out by my local garage. They said that ECU relay was OK, I disconnected battery as advised, no change. I have replaced the Themostat unit complete with sensor the old unit was found to be broken on removal. Still have the same engine lights on on the dash were the same and the temperature gauge still not working. The fans come on immediately when ignition key is turned and continue running after switching off However, after checking fuses,I tried to start it again there were no engine management lights on at all, lights etc were working. I eventually managed to get the car started with no management detail showing at all no radio info or outside temp info in centre dashboard,no rev counter However when I apply the brakes the management info comes back including the recv counter, I am getting various messages, like airbag fault emmisions workshop. When put into driv all info disappears again. can anyone Help !!!!

Clear the trouble codes with a scanner and see if they come back, when faced with many codes this is the best thing to do, the codes may have been set during some kind of work being done on the car, the real hard faults will return and switch on the light if the problem is still present this will occur in about 10-15 miles of mixed driving, like city and highway, this is called a normal drive cycle. Let me know what codes return if any at my email address of [email protected] for further free help with this.

Try first unplugging battery cable for ten minutuse, to reset ECM, and do a scan again, there are too many unrelated error codes at the same time

    Replace also the ECU relay.
If after reconnecting you get same errors, start troubleshooting error 1 (16500), you need to test and replace Engine Coolant Temp. Sensor.
1C0907379M is related to ABS pump.
Your post is a bit confused, post the error codes only, you told you got two errors.

My battery drains over night. i can hear a relay under the dash clicking. i remove no. 27 fuse and it stops. what is causing this?

Check your owners manual for the number 27 fuse to see what it is. Checking online I see it as a 15 Amp, Under hoop lamp, Map lights, Glove box lamp, Dome lamp, Visor lamps, Accessory delay, Dimmer switch illum. and 4x4 system. check each one to see if the bulb is blown but left on, at least if it's a light. It that doesn't do it, research how to check accessory delay and 4x4 system.

How to fix diagnostic code for 1999 vw passat po304 po305 po306

Hi. You have misfires on cylinders 4, 5 and 6. If there are no faults on cylinder 1, 2 and 3 then I would check the power to the left bank injectors. Also check spark plugs and ht leads. If there are running issues then this should be an easy fix. If the faults are very intermitant then it can be a bit tricky to isolate.

I have 1998 Toyota Corolla Automatic CE. Check light is on. What is this.

The "check engine light" or MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) is telling you that the power train computer is holding a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) in memory. These codes set when a problem with one of the many engine sensors is detected or engine parameters exceed expected programmed limits. A code reader tool is needed to read out these codes and explain the definitions. Most major auto parts stores will read out your codes for free.

Even if your car is running fine, do not ignore this light. In many states, your car will not pass an emissions test with the light on. Many faults that will set codes are related to proper emissions control. But many faults that cause emissions problems also cause poor gas mileage. So if you ignore the light you may very well be wasting precious gas dollars.

If the check engine light is on look at the faults. It could be a defective cam sensor, the timing belt might not be in the place, or a defective mass air flow sensor.
