DTC - 22 Throttle position sensor error (signal low), is tps connected?
DTC - 23 Intake air temp sensor error (low temp indicated) check and make sure the sensor is connected
DTC - 43 Knock sensor error, ignore this for now, will not cause rich run.
DTC - 53 System voltage too high, check reference voltage from PCM, it should be around 4.5 Volts, this could be the cause of all your problems, the computer will need to replaced almost for sure.

1991 chevy van g20 blowing out black smoke

The most typical reason is that the fuel pump is getting weak. You may think I am nuts. Let me explain. The fuel injectors, on a throttle-body system, need pressure to atomize the fuel properly. With low pressure, the fuel just runs out of the injecot nozzles and puddles in the intake manifold. Then it literally "runs" into the engine. It does not burn properly and produces alot of black smoke. Fuel mileage goes way down, also. Replace the fuel pump and fuel filter, and you will be amazed. Good Luck.

It has a bad mis and running rich dark foul smelling smoke what's wrong? 1991 chevy v6 s10

possibly a faulty injector for the miss but if you have a head/headgasket problem it would account for the exhaust. Do a compression test and radiator pressure test to eliminate that area of concern

1993 lumina euro is blowing black out of tailpipe smells gas

Black smoke is unburned gas. If the car is running fine besides the black smoke, it's most likely the Coolant Temperature Sensor. The part is roughly $20 and an easy fix.

If you facing a little black smoke along with it your engine is running a little rich. Black smoke indicates unburned fuel and this could cause a black stain and leading to test failure
