Trying to take of serpentine belt suzuki vitara 1999

ThereĀ“s a loud shreak sound when veh starts running , will continue for close to 1 or 2 min , the sound is real close to the alternator belt or 1 of the 2 . Before this started , We found a leak , coolant was dripping on the alternator an around it . Please an image or illustration on how to completely remove the belt would be appreciated !

hey there,that car might have a self tensioner pulley,,meaning you find the right bolt and when you turn it one way or another the belt will become loose itself some cars employ that method,,,,

It is a the smallest pulley, and there is nothing attached to it.

2006 grand vitara, making sudden loud screechy sound, & lost power steering, when a/c is off, power steering is restored..

Sounds like the serpentine belt is slipping and perhaps struggling to turn pullies.. this would result in horrid squealling noises especially in cold damp weather and loss of power steering ability when A/C is on

(A/C on equals extra strain on the belts grip, when turned off the A/C pulley spins freely hence less strain)
