I went to my garage and found my car doors locked which I had not done.. Unlocked them and alarm sounded. My remote quit working two yrs ago, doesn't even have battery in it. I had to disconnect battery cable to kill alarm. There is no valet switch so how do I deactivate alarm so I can use car?
Put key in ignition, turn all the way forward, but not trying to start. Let alarm cycle 2 times, when it stops the 2nd time, remove key and alarm should be disarmed. This will only work if it is a factory alarm.

factory fitted alarm?? no way its done through the ECU and shuts down the spark via the processor and try finding a wiring diagram??

I belive all you have to do is put the key in the ignition and turn it counter clockwise. Hopefully that works for you.

There is NO possible electrical cause (within REASON) which would create the problem you describe. I assume you tried the Keyless Entry Remote to DIS-ARM the anti-theft system. If the ALARM system was activated, it will stay activated until it's de-activated by the remote (typical design feature). The best SOLUTION is to take vehicle into Hyundai an have the problem diagnosed.

ok open the car door an put the key in the ignition turn to the on (dont turn the car on but turn the key to where your radio an dash lights come on) an leave there for 1 min and then your car will disarm the alarm then you will be able to start your car after you have done that.
