It eans that one of the tire pressure sensors is not reading right they may have disturbed them when putting on new tires you may have to have sensors retrained this will need to be done at the dealer

2006 Pacifica & the (!) light is on and says service tire system soon..1 tire low pressure. I put new tires on it yesterday and the light hasn't gone off. Could it be because I don't have a spare

If you had tires installed and light stayed on it is possible not having spare but normally the tps sensor (tire pressure sensor) or tpm tire pressure monitor or it got damaged when new tires got installed.

What does warning light that looks like horeshoe with an explanation point inside mean?

The Tire Air Pressure Monitoring System. Intended to alert you when your tire pressure is low. Damaged tires, low air pressure, temperature changes and faulty monitor may all cause the system to turn on. The warning light resembles a horseshoe with an exclamation point in the center.

I have a service tire system soon alert on my 2004

you have a bad TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor) that is not reading or is having failure problems. Maybe due to excessive pressure loss or the sensor is bad. They require maintenance just as anything else. Sears I know has TPMS kits that replace maintenance parts such as the rubber grommet seal, Lock ring, Special replacement valve core which is made of a different metal than whats is used on NON-TPMS systems, and lastly the TPMS cap. IF the tires were replace then they have to either sell you the maintenance kit or use the same TPMS parts. They would only have to remove the valve core to get the air out of the tire and use that same one again if they are unable to get the kit. GOOD LUCK!

Tire pressure reset will not reset

Labatche822,
The process for resetting your Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM) is below.
Good luck, let me know.
Regards.

To reset (calibrate) the system:
1. Turn the ignition switch to RUN.
2. Press the GAGE INFO button on the DIC until
TIRE PRESSURE appears on the display.
3. Press and hold the DIC RESET button for about five
seconds. After five seconds, the display will show
TIRE PRESSURE RESET. If TIRE PRESSURE
RESET does not appear on the display after about
five seconds, see your dealer for service. After you
release the DIC RESET button, TIRE PRESSURE
NORMAL will appear on the display.
The system completes the calibration process during
driving. During the first 10 to 25 miles (15 to 40 km) of
driving, the system will not alert you if a tire is high or
low. After 25 to 100 miles (40 to 160 km), the
system will only alert you about pressure differences of
12 psi (85 kPa) or more. After about 100 miles (160 km)
of driving, the system will alert you if one tire is
10 psi (69 kPa) different from the other three tires.

2002 town & country "service tire system soon"

If all the sensors retrained, you either still have low tire pressure, or the computer which reads the sensors needs to be reprogrammed with a different tire pressure threshold.
