I'm assuming you have the 4.6 liter engine since the 5.4 liter engine that also came in the Expedition has a coil on plug setup. Below is a picture that should help. Hope it does....

The distributor cap will have a "1" stamped on the top to indicate CYLINDER 1, and will have an arrow indicating direction of rotor rotation.
There will be a sticker affixed to the inside of your engine compartment, listing your correct FIRING ORDER.
there is a fuse under the hood on the fire wall underneith a black cover on the left side as your looking at it there is another cover to get to the fuse

Firing order is
1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Passenger side of engine starting at front and going
back is 1-2-3-4 Driver's side starting at front going back is 5-6-7-8.
