You need to check the battery drain. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and using a multimeter between the negative terminal of the battery and the now disconnected negative lead check the amperage which is being drawn from the battery. Your reading should settle anything between 0.03 and 0.20A but hopefully nearer the lower end. If it is above this then you will have to systematicly disconnect each electricrical item until you have a good reading. Once you have get a good reading on the multimeter you should be able have a good idea of what was causing the drain. Good luck

Hi.
The "battery not holding charge" means that the battery charge goes down by itself after the battery has been fully charged either by the alternator driving the car, or using a battery charger. If the battery does not hold charge, then the problem is usually the battery itself.
The battery can only be tested using a battery tester or replacing it with a good one. Reading Volts across battery terminals is not a good test.
Before replacing the battery read volts across the battery terminal to ensure alternator is good. If alternator is good, Volts with engine on must be between 13.5 and 15 (see: ALTERNATOR - Jeep Garage).
If the battery and alternators are indeed good and the battery looses charge in several hours, try disconnecting battery terminal immediately after turning engine off. If battery does not go down with wires disconnected, then there is a parasitic drain, which means a short circuit, somewhere in the car's wiring. Common points for parasitic drains are car stereo and wiring in steering column.
If the battery stays charged, but starter motor is clicking and not cranking, then the problem is usually the starter motor itself.
Regards.
