reset you computer, do this by removing the positive battery cable for 10 mins.

There's a TSB on that problem. It involves broken wires in the A and B pillar from the central convenience module to the rest of the car. Ask your VW dealership or what not for a more specific answer.

I had this, there are two small brackets along the rails ( L shape about 3/4" long). on mine, one of them fell preventing it from closing. I reached and felt the loose part on top of headboard leaning againts the the side of the body. Goodluck
SOURCE: my moon roof quit working and need to know if its a fuse or relay but no covers to judge/change
If you locate the fuse-panel it will have an index on the inside cover.
SOURCE: moon roof leaking tube in corner stopped up.
If you can access the top side of the tube without removing the moon roof, you can take an air compressor hose with a rubber nozzle, jam the tip in the hose and blast it with quick bursts of air. To insure that you got the blockage out, pour some water in that area and watch around the wheel well for the water to flow out.

all i could find in tha manual is that there is a relay switch that controls the windows and roof..this problem developed when my heater core was leaking and there was a lot of water on the floor boards due to this problem. i am assuming that the water shorted out something. even though there isnt a direct fuse for these things i did pull out a lot of them and check to make sure that there wasnt any bad ones..
if your car has had water intrusion then you have a wet central locking control unit(german fancy words for bcm or body control module) its under the drivers seat/foot area. If your car does or has in the past smelled like a moldy stink box and the front footwells have been any where from damp to underwater, then most likely the rubber drains underneath the battery(remove these!) and brake booster are clogged full of tree compost and filled your cowl area with water until poured into the fresh air intake where the cabin filter is, filling your passenger foot well first then the drivers side. To check, pull of the drivers kick panel(the trim panel left of your left foot when sitting in the drivers seat) and door sill, pull up the carpet as far as you can, underneath just in front of the seat is a black box, remove it from the floorboard of the car and open it. inside is the CL module, unplug it and look for corrosion on the pins and connector, if you find some replace the module(must be code with scan-tool) and clean the connectors with electrical oxidation remover and then preventer and problem solved.
