I can read the manual and follow the instructions to the letter. I have reset the presets on the radio and the clock but when I get out of the car and get back in the setting go back to the original owner. How do I fix this? very aggrevating...lol

How to reset engine service soon on nissan murano 2004

Take it to your local auto parts store and have them hook up the code scanner and some of them will tell you they're not allowed to do the reset but I just tell em it's cool...just reset it. Some won't do it at all so just go to a different store, someone is bound to do it.
Or you can buy a OBD scanner of your own and reset it yourself.

Engine oil light lit up and says Dist:3750mi

Nissan recommends changing the oil every 3750 miles. The computer is reminding you that you have driven 3860 miles without yet changing the oil.

My Murano has 85K miles and I would like to keep it another 85K. What is the recommended maintenance schedule from 85K to 170K?

just do your oil changes spark plug changes airfilters ,fuel filter, maybe a radiator flush to keep antifreeze fresh..check ur fluids brake, powersteering, just check tranny oil. do not do transmission oil change unless you have shifting problem people tend to change things that arent necessary i believe you having timming chain never has to be replaced just change things that you havent done since you've gotten it and you should be okay

Tire rotation warning

It has nothing to do with rotating your tires, on your LCD screen when you select maintenance, you can select at how many miles you want to be reminded when to change your oil and when to rotate your tires. Once your vehicle has reached so many miles it'll pop up to remind you as it's sposed to do. While at a stopped position go to that screen, scroll down with your little joystick type knob and when you've selected tire rotation, you click to reset the miles on it back to zero. When you do your oil change you do the same thing. Your screen doesn't know if you've changed your tires or not, only you can tell it that you have.
