Any experts know how to remove the left center (dash) AC / heater vent? My direction/adjuster tab broke off, and so I need to replace the vent. However...I don't know exactly how to remove the broken vent (also referred to as the "case assembly") in order to put the other one in. Afraid to try to pry it out if (for some insane reason) all or part of the center dash has to come out first. Thanks!

It is not an eays job. I would have it done by a tecknician so you have a warranty. The honda dealer is your best bet because you will oem parts and the job will be done right . then you are good for another 90,000 miles. I hope this helps. Don't forget to rate my answer.
SOURCE: Need to know how to remove broken studs?
Your going to have to remove the hub bearing unit to replace the studs.
The studs are pressed fit, so your going to have to press it out backwards. Don't try to hamer the studs out, you may damage the Hub bearing and you might as well change the whole hub if that's the case.
Once you have the hub removed press fit the studs out backward and if you don't have a press fit, you could get away with a clamp and lot's of washer and a pipe for leverage.
To install the new studs, just follow in revers and press fit the new ones in place, it should take about 30 min to an hour to do. But take your time if you have not don this before.
Good luck and hope this helps, and if your have abs, make sure you line up your sensor before putting the wheels back on.

You can by the grommet by itself. I believe they are about $2.00 from the dealer.

you must carefully pop off the door plastic clips using a screwdriver and prying gently until they pop out , also remove the screws under any small round plastic screw cover inserts and in the plastic door handle area
