It sounds like the alternator has went out. They have bearings in them that eventually wear out. When this happens, they can make a screaching noise, or the bearing itself can lock up, causing the belt to slip and make a similar noise. Both of these scenarios will get louder as you accelerate. When the alternator is not charging your battery correctly, your vehicles electrical system will drain the battery.

engine vibration to me seems to be the problem, try checking your oil and spark plugs these can cause your engine to vibrate worse and run worse

It struggles to start sometimes, other times it doesnt. yesyerday i heard a screaching noise while driving, later that night it wouldnt start. the car lights were diming then nithing

Check your belts, the screaching noise was probably coming from the belt slipping. Make sure the alternator and all the pulleys are turning freely.

2003 Trail Blazer Problem? Not sure if the issues are related but happened with-in a week of clicking noise coming from the rear panel (3rd row) on the passanger side when I started it clicked about 2-3...

To start, these may or may not be related. First off, the clicking noise from the rear is one of the actuators in the rear HVAC unit. It is clicking either because the door it controls is stuck or the gear is stripped.
What wire did you cut to stop the clicking? And did you tape it up to prevent shorting? If that wire is contacting something, it will cause the battery to drain.
The cars dies when you turn on the AC because you need to clean the throttle body. When you replaced the battery you reset the computer, it now has to relearn to the dirty throttle body.

My 92 vette sat all last winter and I needed to replace my battery. After I replaced the battery I started the car, the stereo had a high screach sound thru the speakers, you could not hear anything...

its interference from the alternator ,for whatever reason which i think is your problem but i could be wrong it could just be the radio has damp inside it and may dry out with use like have the heater on ,without hearing the noise its difficult to pinpoint exactly what the noise is ,yes their is a difference in the type of noise as to a clue as to what is causing the noise .

1999 HZJ75 toyota troopy ...I have what I think is a gear box noice. Noticeably getting worse over several weeks. Gone from a whine to reverberating whine. Occurs worse when acceleration is off but stll in...

I'd check the U-joints first. Then, check for low gear oil level in the gear box.
Also examine it by draining the gear oil to see if it has any metal fragments in it.
If it does, you probably have a bad bearing or something else coming apart.

Focus GRINDING NOISE during excellaration

I had the same exact problem with my 2003 Focus with 108,000 on it. Making right turns and accelerating was even worse. Had many ideas from differant mechanics saying it was wheel bearing, steering rack, loose heat shields, transmission...ect. Well after having wheel bearing replaced and steering rack replaced, the grinding was still there. It was finally discovered that the noise was coming from a bad motor mount on the right side. Had the dealer replace the motor motor mount and finally!!! the problem was solved. Thank God.
