Try crank position sensor.cam sensors are mostly for monitoring misfires. cam sensor doesnt determine spark timing

No its not ur pcv or ur vacuum.
There is a little sensor on the bottom of your throttlebody called ISC
They almost always go bad in these cars.
You can find ones that are good used at mitsubishigraveyard.com
they also can explain to you how to test the ISC.

yep if it has the same size engine.and all electrical shift hook up the same.

clean out the plug ins with electrical cleaner...sounds like something isnt plugged in or got cut or grounded out when u took all that stuff apart
