vacuum leak..look to area behind air cleaner to intake .. snorkel area first..spray carb cleaner there after you start it to discover vacuum leak.... this is a guess .. but a good one... check first for hoses off/ leaking intake air sources and let me/us know
SOURCE: oil around spark plugs on 1992 honda accord
Yes the oil can cause the car to lose spark, the oil leak could be caused by the valve cover gaskets around the spark openings, but 9 times out of 10 it is the spark plug tube "O" rings. The top of the valve train comes off of the head, the "O" rings are between the two halves, that will fix the oil leak.
SOURCE: 1999 Honda accord coupe stalling randomly
this is your ignition switch failing. Typical symtoms when stalling, speedometer and tach dropping to zero(while in motion), some warning lights not lit, power failure. The internal contacts are shorting due to poor design and engineering. This causes vital engine/vehicle electrical failure, causing the stalling(happens more often in hotter/humid weather). There is a recall in place for this in 2002, over 1.5Million vehicles from 97-02 Honda/Acura models affected. Owners were notified in 2002!! If your vehicle is part of this recall, honda may repair for free. Call your local honda dealer with your VIN# at hand, they will give info on this recall and may repair for free. Otherwise the switch cost about $45-$95. hopefully this helps...please rate...thanks
SOURCE: 99 honda passport-transfer case pops into neutral
Hi, the operating sleeve (an internally splined sleeve that has a groove for the shift fork on the outside) and the output shaft can shift in relationship to each other and do what you describe, that is pop out of 4wd. The solution is new bearings everywhere in the t-case (there are kits available, and it's not that hard to do yourself if you have the mechanical skills especially the little needle bearing that supports the inside of the output shaft for 4wd) AND a newer, sturdier output shaft.
