More than a dollar and less than ten-thousand dollars. It depends on which sensor you are wanting to replace, where the sensor is located on the vehicle and who is doing the replacing.

Cost of repairing audi being in limp mode

imp mode is activated by the ECM when certain sensors are out of set parameters . The sensors concerned cover both the engine and transmission and are set to protect both the engine and transmission. To get an idea of the cost you will first have to run the fault codes to find the fault and then get quotes to fix. It could be a simple wiring problem to complex repair/replacement effort.

I have a 2001 Audi Avant that that surges, especially when stopped at a light. It threatens to stall unless I rev the rpms. Could this be related to oxygen sensors?

normally o2sensors will not cause this type of run problem surging can be caused by vacume leak or idle control valve

I am planning to buy 2000 audi A4 with 95000 miles on it? What do I need to check on this car before I drive off the lot?

This info is from MSN autos.

Occasional problems on this vehicle, 4-cylinder engines only, are failures of the Engine, Engine Vacuum Hoses and the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor. Failure of the Engine is caused because the engine oil gels. When proper maintenance schedules for oil changes are followed, oil gelling should not occur. Audi has issued an 8 year unlimited mileage goodwill repair for this condition. The cost to replace the MAF Sensor is estimated at $380.00 for parts and $60.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Engine Vacuum Hoses is estimated at $25.00 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to repair the Engine is estimated at $4,775.00 for parts and $845.00 for labor. The cost to replace the Mass Air Flow Sensor is estimated at $500.00 for parts and $52.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

Occasional problems on this vehicle are failure of the Comfort Control Module, with 4-cylinder engines only, and failure of the 4-Way Hazard Flasher. The cost to repair the Comfort Control Module is estimated at $290.00 for parts and $65.00 for labor. The cost to replace the 4-Way Hazard Flasher is $31.50 for parts and $91.00 for labor. All prices are estimates based on $65.00 per flat rate hour and do not include diagnostic time or any applicable sales tax.

My econ light remains on, on my 04 Audi A4. Various post report check the fuses initially. Which fuse do i need to check specifically?

This is normally one of 3 problems:

1 - Refriant too low
2 - Pressure sensor faulty
3 - Climate Control Unit faulty

In order of cost -

1 - Re gas approx 49 pounds
2 - New sensor - 50 Pounds
3 - New climate control unit circa 700 pound

I have just had the same issue and after a re gas and new sensor it all works okay.

Our driver door sensor is messed up / when you turn the lights on the car beeps and will not stop beeping / how much would repairing this cost

it will take 1-2 hours for repair shop rates are usually around $85 per hour.

here is the part you need as the sensor is built into the lock assembly.

http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/2001/audi/tt/body_mechanical_-ar-_trim/door_lock_assembly.html

so with the cost of the part and labor your looking at anywhere from $200-$350.
