Santa Fe fuel cutoff switch

Wanted to know is there is a fuel cutoff switch, as I replaced my fuel pump (it's pumping) but no fuel to engine. I have limited equipment, but if its a switch or relay I can handle this.

I found the fuel reset, but that wasn't the problem. It was a cracked Crankshaft sensor from the lower plastic cover dry-rotting and got caught in the belt and whacked it. The sensor was only about $30, BUT, it is buried behind the timing and balance belts, between the pulleys. No way to solder on the new 3 ft wire, as it runs around the block and my mechanic (trusted independent for 6 yrs now)spent 3.5 hrs getting the wire in...practically had to pull the engine. boy is Hyundai setting themselves up for future revenue! Then the lower cover had to be replaced (which no one had & took a week to get here, as it was dry rotted. So the whole deal cost me $355, plus what I spent on the fuel pump that I put in. this is the first real problem I've had with the car. the dealer wanted over $700.

The fuel cutoff switch is located on the drivers side strut tower next to the brake master cylinder. press down on the top rubber part and you should hear a click.

2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. What does the fuel filter look like on it please?

It is inside the fuel tank and part of the pump assembly unless someone has added an after market filter.

Where is the in-line fuel filter on a 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe located.

I am not familiar with that model, but it dosen't sound like a fuel filter to me .
If it runs good after you get it started, the filter is probably ok,i don't know where it is located on that model, but it sounds like you have already found the problem (low fuel pressure) check for leaks, make sure the lines are on the right places on tank .Whatever is causing low fuel pressure is probably the solution.
hope this helps!

Want to know where fuel filter is located

The fuel filter is located in the fuel tank (part of the in-tank type fuel pump). It's really a 'sock' at the bottom of the pump inside the fuel tank.

Hyundai 2003 Santa Fe 2.7V6 - engine turns over fine, doesn't seem to be getting fuel immediately. Eventually it starts after 5 or 6 seconds of turning over. Suspect fuel filter or fuel pump?

Initially I would agree fuel pressure had dropped off after shut down. This fuel filter is a sock screen attached to the fuel inlet tube of the fuel pump and is located inside the fuel tank with the fuel pump. This screen is rarely the cause. You'll need a fuel pump pressure gauge to verify the low fuel pressure at start up. Caution, sometimes this low pressure isn't a faulty pump, sometimes it's a poor wiring connection to the pump motor. An analog amp meter can verify if there is fluctuation/ing current flow to the fuel pump. A fluctuating current flow could mean poor connections, or could mean the pump has/is gone/going bad.

2005 Hyundai Santa Fe won't start after fueling

After change fuel pumps per diagnostics still had problem with starting after fueling. Researched on-line and kept seeing purge control valve as solution. Mechanic didn't think it would do anything but filled up three times now and so far so good. part was $49 and he was nice enough not to charge for labor

Turn on switch fuel pump"

There is not a Switch for the Fuel Pump. Look under the Hood and Locate the Fuse Relay Box. Inside this Box is a Relay for the Fuel Pump. The Diagram should be inside the Box Cover or Inside the Owners Manual. Replace this Relay and it should Start unless the Fuel Pump needs to be Replaced. Please Rate My Response! Thanks!
