Cruise control not working 1995 Shogun/Pajero/Montero

I cant get the cruise control to work on my 1995 Shogun 2800 turbo intercooler diesel. There is power to the switch but the light does not come on.
I think it may be the relay but I cant find it!
Anyone got any idea where it is located?

I think the car has had some electrical work done before I bought it. Niether the cruise control or air con worked when I got it. I have fixed the air con now, well when I say fixed it, I have fitted the missing relays & fuses & all works perfectly including the condencer fan. I have checked all the wiring to the two cruise control switches on the dash & colomn & all seems to be ok I have also found the fuse which is also ok

HELP!

Hi... I am facing the problem before. You need to change one control ring(yellow in colour)inside the steering. You have to open the steering n there is one yellow ring inside the steering box. That control ring quit expensive but sometime you can get it secondhand.thank you

Hi,

You're in the wrong place to ask - try Here, at Pocuk.com:
http://www.pocuk.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=1
This should be a link to the main technical forum.
With over 15,000 or so members, somebody should be able to help! It's not just Pajeros, but Shoguns as well.
All advice is freely given, but if you get a satisfactory answer, you can, if you wish, make a small donation to help towards the site costs. This is entirely voluntary. They're a nice friendly bunch of people
Say that Daisy sent you - I've been a member since 2004. I stumbled across your post whilst looking for some info on axle weights for my Pajero.

My Pajero 2800 Turbo Diesel blows water into overflow tank

Have a look at the thermostat.
If it's blocked shut, there won't be the circulation through the rad.
You may need to invest in some 'radweld' type treatment too.
Good luck with that.
Don't forget to rate, thanks ;)

Engine oil get less every two weeks in my pajero 4m40

Diesels do lose a little oil out the blow-by tube. If the engine temp. is higher then normal then you will lose more then normal amounts. If you are not leaking it then you are burning it, Possibly worn rings, head-gasket, or oil leak inside turbo. 68 MPH and higher doesn't sound unusual, is the engine still stock?
